1984 McBride Construction Resources Inc. is originally founded as McBride Raftery Construction by Ken McBride and Chris Raftery.
Ken McBride has a Masters in Communication from the University of Washington while Chris Raftery has a Masters in Civil Engineering from Stanford University.

1985

Dennis Edwards is hired as a Project Manager in 1985

1986

Chris Raftery leaves to start a new company focusing on high rise construction leaving Ken McBride as the sole owner and president of McBride Construction in 1986.

Rick Witte is hired as a Project Manager in 1986

McBride Construction moves to its current office location at 224 Nickerson St. in 1986.

1988

McBride Raftery Construction re-incorporates as McBride Construction Resources Inc. in 1988.

McBride Construction reaches the 10 year milestone in 1994.

Rick Witte creates the Building Envelope / Construction Defect Division in 1994 to focus on fixing the growing number of defectively constructed buildings in the Pacific Northwest.

McBride Construction makes the Seattle Times for their work on the Lincoln County Courthouse building in 1996..

1997

McBride Construction wins the “Excellence in Construction Award” from the Associated Builders & Contractors of Western Washington for their work on the Lincoln County Courthouse Project in 1997.

2001

McBride Construction makes the Puget Sound Business Journal for their work on the Oddfellows Building in 2001.

2002

Having outgrown their existing office space, McBride Construction adds a second story to their Seattle Office in 2002.

McBride Construction makes the Seattle Times for their work on The Masins Furniture building in 2002.

McBride Construction reaches the 20 year milestone in 2004.

McBride Construction makes the Seattle Times for their work on the Louisa May Alcott Elementary School in 2007.

McBride Construction Resources Inc. opens an Office in Portland Oregon
